About WICUDA Europe

One association for Wimbum people living in Europe, with a duty to the culture we carry and to Donga-Mantung division at home.

The Wimbum are the people of Donga-Mantung division in the North West Region of Cameroon, made up of three clans: Wiya, War and Tang. Ndu, Tabenken, Binka, Nkambe and Mbot are among the villages our members come from.

WICUDA Europe brings together the chapters that grew up around Wimbum families in the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium. Each chapter runs its own calendar; the European body holds the annual convention, coordinates development work at home, and keeps the cultural record.

The association exists to do three things well: gather our people once a year, transmit Limbum language and Wimbum custom to a generation born in Europe, and fund practical development in Mbumland with a published ledger.

The association owns its own domain, accounts and records. Officers change; the institution does not.
